EVERYTHING CHANGED when the new law took effect in California. You can now legally buy weed (if you’re over 21), and even get it delivered to your own home!!! Why even get off the couch? It’s never been a better time to be a weed aficionado.

BUT THINGS ARE NOT SO ROSY for medical marijuana patients, who depend on the cannabis derivative CBD to fight pain, nausea, insomnia, mental illness and other health challenges. Now that dispensaries want to cash in on the recreational craze, CBD is way expensive and hard to get. When it does become available again, it is with a high price tag. After awhile the bureaucratic red tape starts to cut into industry profit margins and the big corporations close in for the kill.

DELIVER ME is three stories in one: the tale of a dispensary owner with his head in the clouds and his mind in the gutter, of lovely Jennifer, a CBD patient and advocate, and of Isaac, a down-and-out Christian who finds himself forced to deliver marijuana.

ISAAC (early 20s) – Fresh out of a Midwestern fundamentalist church, Isaac finds himself stuck between homelessness and becoming a delivery boy…for a dispensary.
